The name originates from Mc Dopey Rotten (DOPE) and Skits Vicious & Jay Reaper (Duo of Darkness). These three outspoken characters teamed up and they stand out by being their remarkable selves. Language is clearly no barrier for Dutch hip-hop collective Dope D.O.D. For the past year, they have been at the forefront of a budding European hip-hop scene. Their sound can be described as �a new realm of hardcore hip hop with classic styles and European electronic sound thrown in the mix.�
